Many Seniors Don't Do Enough Research on MDs

In a survey of 1,750 older adults, 43 percent had read online doctor reviews. The problem: Those ratings leave out important information, such as whether a doctor has had disciplinary action. For that info, you’ll need to check your state medical board, which only 8 percent of participants reported doing.
