Keep a Regular Workout Schedule to Maintain Weight-Loss Goals

Here’s a simple trick to keep the weight off: Stick to a steady workout schedule. That’s the lesson researchers learned by interviewing 375 adults who lost at least 30 pounds and kept the weight off for more than a year. The majority of them said they always exercised at the same time. Such consistency appears to have other benefits, as well. Those who followed a regular schedule exercised an average of 350 minutes per week, compared with 285 minutes for those whose workouts were more erratically timed. Pencil in walks at lunchtime or sign up for an exercise class that meets at the same time each morning.
