1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 lb. lean ground beef (93% lean)
1 cup chopped onion (about 1 large)
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups frozen mixed vegetables
2 tsp. togarashi (Japanese pepper blend)
3 cups uncooked, no-yolk medium noodles
4 cups low-sodium beef broth
1–2 cups water


  1. Pour the olive oil into a large sauté pan or skillet and heat to medium high. Add the beef, onion, and garlic and cook until the beef is browned. Add the vegetables and togarashi seasoning, and mix well. Add the noodles and mix well. Add the broth and enough water to cover everything.
  2. Bring to boiling. Reduce the heat to medium and cook until the noodles are tender, approximately 15 minutes.
