Nonstick aluminum foil or parchment paper
1 cup high-fiber “twigs” cereal (such as Fiber One)
1/4 cup sesame seeds
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Pinch ground cayenne pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Combine all of the ingredients and mix well. Spread in a single layer on the prepared sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is toasted. Serve over soups, salads, and nonstarchy veggies.
