Sound the Alert on March 25
You may be able to help someone prevent type 2 diabetes. The American Diabetes Association’s annual Alert Day is March 25. Alert Day is a one-day “wake-up call” asking people to take the type 2 Diabetes Risk Test to find out if they are at risk for developing the disease. Nearly 1 in 4 people with type 2 diabetes don’t know they have it, and almost 1 in 3 American adults have prediabetes—and the chance to prevent or delay a diagnosis of diabetes. Please share the risk test with your family and friends.
