Going to the doctor once every three months may be a sweet spot for children with type 1 diabetes, a study found. Researchers tracked the blood glucose levels and doctor visits of 1,449 children with type 1. They found that kids who visited the doctor four times a year were more likely to show improvements in blood glucose levels and less likely to see blood glucose control worsen than children whose visits were less or more frequent.
