Exercise Helps "Bad" Fat Turn "Good"

Studies in both mice and humans show: It's not just what you eat but how you move that counts. Researchers in Boston and Denmark have found that exercise can train the body's white ("bad") fat to become brown ("good)" fat—even in participants who eat a high-fat diet and may not have lost weight. Exercise has a positive effect on fatty tissue and the fat surrounding internal organs.
