2011 Aids for Insulin Users

Are you having trouble with insulin injections? Or do you have a friend or family member who is having difficulty? There are a range of products that aim to make taking insulin easier.

By Erika Gebel, PhD ,

We've grouped together a number of different kinds of injection aids designed to help with vision problems, dexterity issues, and needle anxiety, as indicated by the icons listed underneath each product's description below. Some products tackle more than one of these conditions.

If taking insulin is a challenge, talk to your doctor, nurse, or diabetes educator, who may have advice about injection aids or even be able to provide sample products to try out.
