Leafy Veggies for Women's Hearts

Another reason for women to load up on vegetables and olive oil: A study of the eating habits of nearly 30,000 Italian women found that those who ate the most leafy veggies (such as lettuce, spinach, or Swiss chard) were half as likely to be diagnosed with heart disease as women who ate the fewest leafy greens. The women who consumed at least an ounce of olive oil each day also lowered their risk more than those who got only a half-ounce or less daily.
