Omega-3s May Be Essential for Eye Health

Eating fish loaded with omega-3 fatty acids may have helped older adults in a study ward off age-related macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness. Researchers suspect that omega-3s may be essential for eye health; they are plentiful in the eyes of animals. Fatty fish like salmon, sardines, mackerel, herring, and trout are high in omega-3s.
