Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. fresh Roma tomatoes,
cored and coarsely chopped
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
pinch cloves
Salt to taste

Directions

A savory jam that's delicious on meat, fish, or bread.
Combine all the ingredients in a heavy saucepan, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, and simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until thick. Jam can be stored in a sterilized canning jar (boil in water for at least 10 minutes) or tightly sealed container for up to 2 weeks.
