Boil water in a saucepan. Add snow peas, and then turn off the heat. After 1 minute, rinse the snow peas under cold running water to stop the cooking process, then drain.
In a skillet, toast sesame seeds for 1 minute over medium heat. Add snow peas, shallots, and pepper. Continue saut�ing for 1 to 2 minutes until snow peas are coated with sesame seeds.
