Obesity can undermine men’s sex lives, but weight-loss surgery may give very heavy guys their mojo back. Researchers followed 97 morbidly obese men who had gastric bypass surgery and found that their sexual performance—which had been marked by lack of desire, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculatory problems—significantly improved after they shed an average of 66 percent of their weight. What’s more, the amount of weight loss correlated with the extent of sexual improvement.
