President Signs Landmark Diabetes Legislation

On Sept. 25, President Bush signed into law the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, legislation that restores the original intent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. The new legislation sets forth rules regarding the definition of disability, in order to better protect the rights of people with diabetes and other long-term illnesses and disabilities.
